The Shops at Riverside is a luxury retail destination for world-class shopping, dining and entertainment. RSM Design worked with Simon to create a sleek and modern form to serve as the inspiration for the signage and wayfinding design.

The wayfinding strategy reduced the footprint of signage to create an uncluttered experience where the only signage that touches the floor are the sculptural directories. We also innovated a halo-lit effect on the directional signage while maintaining a flat surface on the face of the signs. In simplifying the wayfinding experience, messaging became extremely visible and easily understood by utilizing an icon-driven international approach.
High polished black glass and satin finish metal was applied to the design, incorporating a brass and white palette for the interior palette and tone on tone black layers for the exterior signage.
