Runway is a retail and entertainment destination in Playa Vista, just a few miles away from LAX. The client imagined the site as an urban destination, filled with unique tenants and a space where families, friends, visitors, and locals desire to be apart of.

AN URBAN ESCAPE

The team at RSM collaborated alongside the Runway development team to craft a destination that is as aesthetic and recognizable as it is easy to navigate. Runway consists of over 200,000 SF of retail space, so therefore property needed a comprehensive wayfinding program. The large on-site parking structure, where most guests first enter project, consists of bold, pops of color that differentiate between floor levels. By adding these environmental graphics to the parking garage, the space feels clean and refreshed. These bold elements also serve as wayfinding as guests navigate from the parking structure to the retail portion.
