Chemonics International, a private international development firm based in Washington, recently relocated their U.S. corporate office to The Yards. “Our building is a welcoming gathering point for Chemonics’ global workforce, clients, and the DC community” (chemonics.com). The company offers a variety of development services globally including agriculture and food security, democracy and governance, economic growth and trade, education and youth, environment and natural resources, gender equality and social inclusion, supply chain management, and water, energy, and sustainable cities.

CORPORATE WAYFINDING WITH A GLOBAL APPROACH

For their new headquarters, RSM Design addressed all aspects of identity and wayfinding  while taking a global design approach influenced by colors, materials, and patterns from across their development portfolio. The design team generated wayfinding and specialty graphic installations that conveyed Chemonics’ global reach.
